Friday, May 01 is May Day on Elf Island, and we’re encouraging everyone to do GOOD by purchasing a Good Basket from the Holiday Curio and gifting it to their friends.

Generous players who gift a Good Basket to another player will receive a special surprise. Happy May Day! Hurry up, this limited time item will disappear from the Curio after May 03.

You must gift the Good Basket, not trade. A prize is only received the first time a basket is gifted. The gift recipient cannot re-gift it to receive the prize.

Niger GoodQuest Promotion

Great work so far on the Niger GoodQuest, elves! But the Elf Island community has fallen a bit behind where we should be in order to meet the goal.

Elf Island is running a special promotion this weekend (April 24th-26th) to help us get back on track. All elves that plant at least 30 trees during this time will receive a special prize. That gives you three full days to plant just 30 virtual trees and help the community to earn the QuestKey and plant real trees in Niger. Even better, you will receive a repeat prize for every 30 trees you plant. Meaning if you plant at least 90 trees, you will receive 3!

Come on Elf Island, we can do it!

Spring Decorating

Forget spring cleaning, it’s time for spring decorating on Elf Island! Make sure to decorate your home, judging for our spring decorating contest takes place on April 24^th and 25^th.

To enter, please send a request through the M button on either April 24th or 25th to have your room judged. Be sure to specify one room in your home to have judged. There is no need to remain in your room to wait for the judge.

Remember to be unique and creative, and stick to a spring theme. The 10 best rooms will be featured in The Tide next week and will receive a special prize and coins.

Please only enter your room in the contest once. Any judging requests sent on a date other than April 24th or 25th will not be included in the contest.

Earth Day

Wednesday, April 22nd is Earth Day and Elf Island is celebrating!

Make sure to visit the Elf Island Marketplace to take advantage of our Earth Day deals! We’re releasing some goods in The Wingdome at special Earth Day prices, some of which have never been released in stores! Also, make sure to check out the Furniture Showroom where you can find the new Earth Table. This table won’t disappear after Earth Day, but the sale price will!

Niger Tree GoodQuest

Elves are challenged to plant fun virtual trees. In return, our GoodQuest partner, Plant-It 2020, will plant real trees in Niger to help families lead happier lives.

Elf Island Groundworks! Challenge

Elf Island is challenging all elves to plant a tree or other plant in your community. Send a picture to us to share your contribution to the world! Elves who submit entries will have their picture showcased on Elf Island, and receive a special flower!

Check The Tide, Elf Island’s virtual newspaper, for more information on submitting your entry.

Hydro Hero Hi-Score Challenge

Help clean the oceans of trash and pollution!

The Hydro Hero Hi-Score Challenge will run April 15 - 21. Top players on the leader board April 21 will receive a special prize. Winners will be announced on Earth Day, April 22.

Green Trivia

Players can win great prizes by answering questions about the Earth and how everyone can make the world a better place for all!

Animal Cracker Day

Saturday April 18^th is Animal Cracker Day on Elf Island!

To celebrate the occasion, two Elf Island themed Animal Crackers will be heading to the Holiday Curio. These items are exclusively available this weekend, so make sure to get them before they’re gone! The Trunkflutter Cracker and Turtlebug Cracker will appear in the Holiday Curio on Friday, April 16^th and will be removed after Sunday, April 17^th.

There will also be a Panthex Cracker available as a Host prize exclusively this weekend. If you want to complete your Elf Island Animal Cracker collection, make sure to log-in and participate in the Host games!

April is Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month, and Elf Island is spreading the word!

On Wednesday, April 15^th, make sure to dress in orange and tell the Elf Island Hosts to “Go Orange for Animals!” to receive a special gift. Our Hosts will be visiting rooms across the island all day for this one day giveaway.

We’ve also got a new Host prize promoting Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month, so be sure to participate in the daily events!

Please do not use the M button to request a gift. You must find a Host in order to receive the gift and win a Host game to receive the new Host prize.

Easter Egg Hunt and Party!!!

The Easter Party House will be open on Friday April 10. This room is only temporary, though, so make sure to stop in and check it out before it’s gone! We hope that you are enjoying the Easter decorations in the Market. The Easter Egg Hunt will be available Sat April 11^th and Sunday April 12^th to give everyone a chance to participate.

Starting Sat. April 11th, visitors to the Party House will receive an exclusive party gift, which will be available beginning at 10am EST. Enter the room and click on the gift in order to add it to your inventory. Stick around the Party House, our friend Gusto may make a special appearance.

Once you’ve received your gift from the Party House, let the hunt begin! All day Saturday and Sunday, decorated eggs will appear around the island. Everyone has a chance to click on the egg as long as it appears, but be quick it will not hang around for long. Once the egg disappears a different egg will appear shortly after in a different location. Keep your eyes open because there is one egg that is extremely rare and also gives coins. There will also be Host games and prizes. Enjoy!

Please do not use the M button to request the location of the eggs. Elves must walk directly to the egg in order to receive the egg in their mystuff.
